Things You’ll (Probably) Never Hear at 30 Minute Hit

Every gym has its own personality.

Spend enough time at 30 Minute Hit, and you’ll notice there are a few things members just… don’t say.

“That workout was too easy.”

Some days you feel like a superhero.

Other days, the warm-up has you wondering if your legs forgot how to leg.

Either way, there’s always something in the circuit ready to humble you.

“I hope we do more planks today.”

We know planks are good for us.

We just don’t have to like them.

“I’ll just take it easy today.”

It’s a nice thought.

Then the music starts, the timer counts down, and suddenly you’re throwing punches like you’re in a championship fight.

“I don’t think I’ll sweat today.”

Thirty minutes later…

Let’s just say you’ll probably be glad you packed a towel.

“I don’t need water.”

You did.

“I’m not competitive.”

Until the trainer says, “Can you hit just a little harder?”

Then it’s suddenly personal.

“I think I’ll skip double time.”

Nice try.

The timer waits for no one.

“I’ll catch my breath next station.”

Narrator: They did not.

“I’m too stressed to work out.”

This one usually changes to:

“I’m so glad I came.”

There’s something incredibly satisfying about leaving your stress on a heavy bag.

“I don’t think I can do one more round.”

And yet…

You always do.

The One Thing You Will Hear

“You’ve got this.”

Whether it’s your first Hit or your five-hundredth, encouragement is one thing that’s always part of the workout. If you haven’t experienced your first Hit yet, we’d love to show you what everyone’s talking about.
